How long have you been stamping?
I have been stamping for 5 years.  It all started when I was invited to a Stampin’ Up party and was really excited how one can make their own greeting cards.

What is your favorite technique?
I like to layer paper so all the colors coordinate with my main focus.

Favorite stamp company?
There are too many to name, but if I had to only choose one, it would be Stone House Stamps.

Favorite stamp accessory?
Washi paper (which I love to hoard) and Marvy markers.

Favorite colors?
Blue, red and black with gold.

Favorite embellishment to finish a card?
I don’t have a favorite, maybe occasionally an oriental coin.

What is the one tool you couldn't live without?
My cutting tool.

Any helpful tips for the group?
Always be willing to try something different.  There are so many talented people in this group that offer so many techniques to learn and experiment.

As a member of the Oriental Stamp Art Group, why do you like stamping in the Oriental theme?
I like stamping in the Oriental theme because of the beauty and simplicity of the artwork.

Is there any one place you'd like to visit to find rubberstamps, supplies or any other Asian elements?
Japan, for the washi paper!!

What other stamping lists or clubs do you belong to?
None … just this GREAT OSA group!

What favorite stamping magazines would you recommend?
Take Ten & Stampers’ Sampler.

Published in any magazines? If yes, please list.
Yes, just recently in Craft Stamper and Vamp Stamp News.

Any other hobbies, crafts or art interests?
I enjoy counted cross-stitch in the oriental patterns.  I have two award winning pieces I treasure as it took many hours/years to create.

What inspires you to be creative?
Seeing other great artwork and unique designs in magazines … and sometimes I like to borrow their ideas!

Any art background?
No.

Have you used any unusual item in your stamping?
I have tried dominos, glass slides, and bamboo tiles.

Do you have a day job when you're not stamping?
Presently unemployed.

Tell us about your family and where you live.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years (who is also my biggest critic and gives me a lot of encouragement on my artwork).  We live in Hayward, California, which is approximately 35 miles east of San Francisco.  We have no children or pets to worry about.  We love to travel whenever time allows us to do so.
