Have a look around your home for items you can recycle.8/ Keep the calander at the end of the year to use as backgrounds, make envelopes with, cut up for serendipity. Stamp an open design & emboss it, cutout & use to layer or make an unusual embellishment with. (I used a WilliamMorris design & stamped a kimono outline on it. Fab!)

Re: [OSA] Mixing Orients I think it depends on the look you want. I love the chinese cuts but the Japanese kimono's-- they do work.Why not mix them---- if they go, and it works, according to your eye, why be so specific. Remember the old adage lime and purple do not go, however they sure do. Artistic Interpretation is what this whole craft is about.
